Mariya has two projects: her main project, active for 13 years, and her alias, Amari.

Over time, Mariya has evolved, embracing vinyl records and diving into 90s house, electro, and trance, all while maintaining her eclectic and distinctive touch. Amari, her newest project, draws inspiration from tribal, organic house and progressive sounds, blending them with influences from her earlier music to create a nostalgic yet fresh sonic experience. Her latest set under Mariya was featured on Común Radio in Peru.

Anyone who has experienced a Mariya set knows she has crafted a unique and recognizable sound. Her performances are sensual, hypnotic, and ritualistic journeys, reflecting her evolution as an artist. Drawing from her earlier influences rooted in rich cultural traditions, she has refined her approach to deliver eclectic and versatile sets that captivate and transport her audience.

Founder of the long-running and influential “Festi Ya,” Mariya played a key role in supporting and shaping the underground electronic scene in Peru. This iconic party became a platform for local and international artists, leaving a lasting impact on the community. Beyond her work as a promoter, Mariya has performed extensively across Latin America, including Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, and more, as well as Europe, with appearances in France and Germany.

Her work has been featured on respected platforms such as Mutant Radio in Georgia and Red Light Radio in the Netherlands, solidifying her presence in the global electronic scene.

In 2011 and 2012, she hosted two electronic music radio programs, showcasing her early talent and vision. Today, she continues to demonstrate her musical maturity and extensive experience.
